Daredevil (Charlie Cox) is officially back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, appearing in costume on the latest episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. While the character is back with an updated version of the costume the character donned in the beloved Netflix series, whether or not the character is, in fact, the same version as fans has yet to be confirmed. have come to know and love over three seasons. of television.
In fact, Cox himself hinted at the next Daredevil: Born Again will start from the ground up, again delving into the character’s backstory and going through storylines the Netflix series has already touched on. “And, in a way, what’s great about that is that we can potentially tell some of the stories over and over again the same way they do in the comics, you know,” said said Cox in a new interview with Entertainment tonight (Going through The Direct). “Once in a while they go back to the beginning of Murdock’s journey as a little boy and they tell the whole origin story again. So maybe we can do that, I don’t know.”
East Daredevil: Born Again going to be a reboot?
Whether Born Again is a real reboot or not remains to be seen. In a previous comment similar to the one above, Cox apparently suggested that the next MCU might start from scratch as executives are treating it like Season 1. “It’s a Season 1, it’s not a Season 4, so it’s a whole new thing,” Cox told extraTV at D23 Expo. “Which I think is the way to go. If you have to do it again, do it differently.”

Either way, Cox is thrilled to be back in the saddle, even starting to read the entire Daredevil comic book mythos from scratch after agreeing to return.
“I love it. I loved every minute of it,” Cox said ComicBook.com earlier this year. “And right now, I’m just buzzing that it’s happening again, it’s happening again. And I don’t know where it’s going, I don’t know how much I’m going to get involved, I don’t know I know this that leads, but I feel like we’re born again. And so I feel like I’m getting a second chance at my dream job that has… I call it “There’s has the gift that keeps giving.'”
“It felt so good to me, I had such a great time doing it, I love playing the character, I love the stories,” he continued. “I’ve been doing other things, working on my kids, but about a month ago I reactivated my Marvel Unlimited account. And I started reading the comics again from the beginning, this which I haven’t done since we started the show all those years ago.”
Daredevil: Born Again is set to drop in Spring 2024. The first three seasons of daredevil and The defenders the limited series can now be seen on Disney+.
