A former legal secretary for a large DC corporation and former USDA Forest Service secretary and computer programmer, Elizabeth Abbott Green raised three children in the turbulent 1960s and 1970s. she has moved more than 40 times and lived in four foreign countries, three in the Middle East and North Africa.
