Good books for your spring break

Anyone looking for a good read for the upcoming spring break may want to check out today’s Tampa Bay Reads selections. Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Ashley Kritzer and online book reviewer tells us what’s hot on the shelves and what’s coming.

The first book to consider is the thriller “Night Shift” by Alex Finlay. From Amazon, it’s “a pair of small-town murders fifteen years apart and the ties that bind them together.”

Next up is a contemporary romance with a rom-com vibe. Kate Spencer’s “In a New York Minute” is described on Amazon as “a laugh-out-loud debut album.” [that] is an insightful reminder that fate can have a sense of humor, and love can happen… In a New York minute.”

For fans of historical fiction, Andrea Yaryura Clark’s “On a Night of a Thousand Stars” may be a good read before spring. According to Amazon, “In this moving, moving tale of love and resilience, a young couple grapple with the onset of the Dirty War in Argentina in the 1970s, and a girl searches for the truth twenty years later.”
