moon knight receives a trailer on ABC during the NFL Playoffs this Monday. The DIsney+ series has been rumored to be coming sooner than expected, and it looks like those whispers might carry some weight. On the network this weekend, a promo for the MCU TV show aired on Monday. Comic book fans are excited to see what Oscar Isaac brings to the role. Not much is known about the plot of the upcoming show. Check out the promo for yourself below.

Hulu wrote on Twitter, “Tune in MONDAY for the world premiere of the trailer for @disneyplus’ all-new original series, @MarvelStudios’ #MoonKnight during the NFL Super Wild Card game on @espn/@ABCNetwork.”

Previously, Variety spoke to Ethan Hawke, who will play the villain on the show. Last year he told the outlet he was confiding in his son with the secrets and no one else was allowed to know the details.

“It’s not in my personality not to gather all kinds of information. It’s so difficult for me,” Hawke said. “My son has to know everything. He’s 19, he was the perfect age for the Marvel Universe. You know, he came of age when this whole explosion happened. So whenever I needed to know the backstory behind that god or character, he’s like, ‘Ah, dad! Let me correct you on that.’ He was therefore my go-to resource.”

During a previous appearance on the Seth Myers show, Hawke joked that he based his villain on David Koresh.

“I based my character on David Koresh,” Hawke laughed with the host. “Yeah, so I mean, I guess it works. I totally wanted a Camero, you know? I want to ride a Camero. I can’t believe you, I mean, you’re good Seth. Or maybe that I’m not out of character yet… I don’t know if we want to register saying that. But, I’ll say, he’s the basis of some great character inspiration though.

Here is a description of moon knight:

“A new globe-trotting action-adventure series featuring a complex vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities within him find themselves embroiled in a deadly war of the gods against a backdrop of Modern and Ancient Egypt.”
