Northamptonshire man writes first children’s book after ‘lovable’ Cockapoo, Maggie

Kit’s first book is out now.

A Northamptonshire man who “always sought to write a book” has written his first children’s novel.

Kit Butler, from Great Oakley, has released her first children’s book following the first adventure of the adorable, playful, “cutest little ball of fur you’ll ever meet” Cockapoo, Maggie.

“I found myself daydreaming about my old dog Maggie and the adventures she was having and they just kept coming, so I decided to write them down,” Kit explained.

Maggie or Magster as her friends call her, lives with her owner Paul in the village of Little Wildwood. The book follows their first adventure as the pair join the quest to retrieve the “Ladybug Light” on behalf of the Mystical Council of Mages.

This is the first of many adventures Kit has planned for Magster as he hopes to write six more books about many different worlds for the pup and Paul to explore.

Kit always had the goal of writing a book in her lifetime, but never thought it would be a book featuring an adorable Cockapoo. The book is starting to gain a lot of fans and Kit has an online book tour starting June 27.

The book is perfect for children entering the world of chapter books. Would be great for any animal-loving kid who wants to know what exciting adventures their dogs are having.

The first part of the second book is set to be released next May with Kit drawing inspiration from places closer to home.
