A new Paper Girls trailer on Prime Video, based on the acclaimed comic book series, offers a first look at the highly anticipated show.
The new trailer for paper girls on Prime Video has been released. paper girls is based on the science fiction comic book series of the same name, written by Brian K. Vaughan and illustrated by Cliff Chiang. The comic book series ran from 2015 to 2019. Just a year after the series ended, an Amazon Prime TV adaptation officially went green in 2020.
The official Twitter page of Paper Girls on Prime recently released a new short trailer for the upcoming adaptation. The new clip dramatically shifts from close-up to close-up of the girls staring at the camera, with voice-over narration ominously announcing the promised twists in the upcoming show. paper girls, Originally set in 1988, follows the story of four twelve-year-old girls and newspaper delivery girls who are drawn into a strange time-traveling mystery when forces from the future invade their town. The cast list of the show includes Sofia Rosinsky, Camryn Jones, Riley Lai Nelet, and Fina Strazza. Acclaimed comedian and actor Ali Wong also joined the production last year, playing an older version of Erin, one of the show’s central characters. A set release date still remains unannounced, as the tweet accompanying the video only offers a sneaky “coming soon” for paper girls.
