GRUNDY, Va. – A romance novel festival for fans of the romantic genre will be held in Buchanan County, Virginia in August.
Sizzle in the South, Virginia’s first romance book festival, will be hosted by the Buchanan County Public Library on August 5-6 in Grundy, Virginia.
Authors participating in this year’s festival will be Sherrilyn Kenyon, Lora Leigh, Robin D. Owens, Collen Gleason and Mindi Stewart, according to the announcement from the Buchanan County Public Library.
Number 1 New York Times and international bestseller Sherrilyn Kenyon is one of the world’s most popular and influential authors (in adult and young adult fiction). Her first book debuted while she was still in college. The Festival begins Friday, August 5 at 8 p.m. at the Comfort Inn in Grundy, Virginia. The authors will be panelists on Sizzle’s version of the Match Game TV show. Lots of prizes will be given out and free pizza and drinks will be served, organizers said.
On Saturday at 10 a.m., each author will participate in different panels. A complimentary catered lunch will be served at noon. A full event schedule can be found by visiting the library’s Facebook page or the library’s website, organizers.
A limited number of books will be available for sale on the day of the event.
