SUICIDE SURVIVORS: National Suicide Survivors Awareness Day will hold its 23rd annual candlelight vigil Saturday at 6 p.m. at the River Church, 4257 Tod Ave. NW, Warren. The church was formerly Victory Christian Center. The event is held in memory of Valerie Kopiak and all loved ones who have died by suicide and is sponsored by the Suicide Survivors Support Group. 4-H KICKOFF: Trumbull County 4-H helps youth shape brighter futures in 2022-23 through leadership and hands-on learning experiences. The eighth annual Trumbull County 4-H kickoff will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Trumbull Career and Technical Center. The free event is for all ages and is sponsored by the Trumbull County 4-H Advisory Committee, which will share club information, showcase annual projects and share activities. Refreshments will be provided for attendees, and there will be door prizes and an information bag to take home for each family. The 2023 Trumbull 4-H entry deadline is April 1.

COMMUNITY TREE PLANTING: A community tree planting will take place Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. at Warren’s STEAM Academy, 261 Elm Road. Volunteers are needed. COLLECTION PROGRAM: “Victorian Collections and Cafe”, The Sutliff Museum’s Annual Fall Lecture Series will wrap up at 2 p.m. today in the Community Auditorium inside Boscov in the Eastwood Mall. Joanne Fenn from the Kent State University Museum will teach the simple steps museums take to preserve their collections and how you can apply preventive conservation to protect your special items. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Girard Schools will host a Title I Community Engagement Night for students and their families on Thursday at Prospect Elementary School. The theme is “One world. One family.
