Black Adam is finally set to hit the big screen this year, when Dwayne Johnson stars as DC’s beloved antihero in a self-titled live-action blockbuster. With the summer release date of Black adam gradually approaching, DC fans eagerly enjoyed all of the updates to the film. Johnson took to Twitter on Thursday to present a rather unique take on Black adam, sharing several photos of him sitting in “The Egg,” a massive VFX rig used to capture footage of his head and shoulders. As Johnson explains in the caption, the ten hours of filming involved scenes involving Black Adam’s early days, as a slave in the world of Kahndaq.

It is the latest example of the revolutionary technology that Black adam uses, something that has already been mentioned by producer Hiram Garcia.

“He’s a character with incredible abilities. He’s got super speed, can fly, and has global breaking strength to name a few,” Garcia explained in an interview with Collider Last year. “We wanted to make sure that moviegoers feel that way throughout the movie. You’re not going to see him use super speed once and then it stops, it’s part of his arsenal. abilities fall by the wayside when dealing with characters like this, but one of our many goals was to maintain continuity and push the boundaries of how we do it. For example, the technology we use to make Black Adam fly has never been made before It’s completely unique It was essential for us to make sure it felt special, genuine and real. [Director] Jaume [Collet-Serra] took this to heart. Our Oscar winning special effects team are definitely putting them to work. “

“We’re really excited that you and the fans are seeing the movie, because these actors and this team worked exceptionally hard to make this movie fresh and really introduce an amazing new group of characters to the world,” Garcia continued. “While making sure to free Black Adam to the DC Universe in a big way. This guy is an absolute force of nature. A force of nature who does justice the way he wants. Unfortunately, not many people stray from that. kind of justice he does. We really mean that when we say the hierarchy of power in the DC Universe is going to change. When Black Adam arrives, everything is going to change.
