As continued disturbing reports of The Flash star Ezra Miller’s behavior have become public, including the actor’s arrest in Hawaii for disorderly conduct and harassment, their future in the DCEU has been a big focus. questioning. Earlier this week, a Rolling Stone report revealed that an “emergency meeting” had taken place at Warner Bros. would have taken place during the production of The flash. The report revealed that the studio had decided to “pause any future projects involving Miller”. This is now in question.

In an update to their own story on the Rolling Stone reporting, IGN cites a source within the studio who questioned the report. According to IGN, their source “reprimanded” RS’s original story and said that “no such emergency meeting took place” and that his claims are exaggerated. It should be noted, however, that the initial reports of rolling stone goes through Tatiana Siegel, a former writer of The Hollywood Reporterwith plenty of credibility to his name, having previously told stories of producer Scott Rudin’s abusive behavior and even how WB severed ties with Johnny Depp.

Miller, who appeared as The Flash in Suicide Squad, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice Leaguecameos in The CW’s the flash and HBO Max Peacemakerand will drive the flash solo film the next year, repeatedly made headlines due to surprising public behavior. Two years ago, a first online video saw Miller appear to be suffocating a fan in Iceland, and earlier this year the actor posted a cryptic video threatening the Ku Klux Klan.

Over the past two weeks, there have been multiple reports of encounters with law enforcement and Miller in Hawaii. Last week it was revealed that Miller had been arrested for disorderly conduct and harassment with a police statement noting that Miller was at a karaoke bar when they ‘got agitated’ and started ‘shouting obscenities’ at people present in the bar. Another case that arose was a restraining order filed against Miller by a couple in Hawaii, alleging he threatened them both.

“At 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, South Hilo patrol officers responded to a report of a disorderly patron at a bar on Silva Street,” a police statement read. “During their investigation, police determined that the man, later identified as Ezra Miller, became agitated as bar patrons began to sing karaoke. Miller began shouting obscenities and a moment grabbed the microphone of a 23-year-old woman singing karaoke (disorderly conduct offence) and then lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts (harassment offence). The bar owner asked Miller to calm down several times, to no avail.

No public statement from Warner Bros. has been released on how they intend to handle the situation with Miller, who is not only part of their DC franchise, but also of the Harry Potter adjacent fantastic beasts movies. the flash was recently delayed from a November 2022 release date to June 2023, possibly because the studio was aware of the star’s future headaches.
