William Jackson Harper Hilariously Confirms MCU Cast

Marvel Studios Set To End Its Phase Four Slate With Next Black Panther: Wakanda Forever but all eyes are on the film that will usher in the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. MCU Phase Five will open with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and it’s already poised to be the biggest movie since Avengers: Endgame. Quantumania will reintroduce us to Kang the Conqueror, who will be the next big villain for the Avengers to face, but he’s probably the most formidable. We first saw the antagonist in Loki’s season finale and he was called The One Who Remains. While we may not know the entire cast of the film, it looks like they’re already adding cast members, with William Jackson Harper rumored to be joining the film. Jackson Harper immediately took to Twitter to reveal what he thought of the news, and he definitely spoke up.

The actor was rumored to have been cast in the role since the new trailer was released and it hasn’t been disputed. Now the actor has taken to social media to subtly confirm his role. “Welp. Alright then,” the actor replied to a tweet claiming he had been cast in the upcoming Ant-Man movie. “William Jackson Harper to cast ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ variety.com/2022/film/news… via @variety.” You can check out the tweet below!

I am during this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, the studio has revealed that they will officially conclude the new saga with two new avengers movies, Avengers: Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige seems to think the Multiverse is well in Jonathan Majors’ hands. During the same interview, Feige revealed that the Kang the Conqueror actor is well suited for the role.

“It depends on the cast and with Jonathan Majors, who I think took over the Hall H stage, you know, within three minutes he was up there,” Feige told us. “It’s amazing, and I told him there’s no one I’d rather put the multiverse saga on his shoulders than his. It’s really impressive what Jonathan Majors is able to do and all the different incarnations, variations, if you will, of Kang that we’ll see him do. It’s really, really cool.

“What I love is that he’s totally different than Thanos. That he’s totally different. Isn’t it just that there’s a bigger purple guy with a helmet on? It’s not what Kang is. Kang is a very different type of villain and the fact that he has many, many different characters is what makes him the most exciting and differentiates him the most.” The president of Marvel Studios added.

The last Marvel Studios movie to hit theaters was Thor: Love and Thunder. The film is directed by Taika Waititi and will star Chris Hemsworth as the lead role, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster/Mighty Thor, Russell Crowe as Zeus, Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif, Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star . Lord, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Karen Gillan as Nebula, and Christian Bale as Gorr the Butcher God. In addition to directing, Waititi will also reprise his role as Korg. Thor: Love and Thunder is exclusively streaming on Disney+ now!
